In spite of the current difficult economic situation of the country, the Organizing Committee is applying for financial support from all available funding agencies, namely CAPES, CNPq, FAPERJ, FAPESP, and FAPEMIG.
Even if the totality of the budgets applied for is granted (approximately R$ 1.300.000,00), it is predicted that there will be a deficit of at least R$ 800.000,00 that will have to be covered directly by SBF resources. Therefore, there is no possibility to waive the payment of the conference fees.
Participants with a doctoral degree might have partial support depending on the approval of the supporting agencies from their states.
Graduate students cannot receive direct support from the Organizing Commission because they are supposed to use their research grants associated with their fellowships for this purpose.
