We invite applications for a postdoctoral position in astroparticle physics, with a primary focus on the science goals of the Cherenkov Telescope Array Observatory (CTAO). The main areas of interest include fundamental physics involving gamma-ray propagation, such as Lorentz Invariance Violation, gamma-ray interactions with the Extragalactic Background Light (EBL) and magnetic fields, air shower simulations and data analysis, indirect dark matter searches and physics beyond the Standard Model .

Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Physics, Astronomy, or a related field, defended within the last 7 years.

• Proven active role in the international astroparticle physics community.

• Experience with modern software tools relevant to data analysis and modeling.

• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English.

Conditions: The selected candidate will reside in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. The fellowship, funded by FAPESP, is for an initial period of 24 months, with two possible extensions of 12 months each, subject to approval. It includes a monthly stipend of R$ 12.000,00 and an additional 15% of the stipend as contingency funds for research-related expenses.
