The Astroparticle Physics Group (APOEMA) at the São Carlos Institute of Physics, University of São Paulo, invites applications for a Technical Training Fellowship – Level 5, to participate in the construction of the CTA Observatory. The selected candidate will be involved in the development of mechanical structures for the telescopes and in the commissioning of the first telescopes already installed in La Palma
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Astronomy, or related fields.
- Minimum of five years of professional experience or a doctoral degree.
- Proficiency in relevant softwares including computer networks.
- Strong communication skills and a good command of English.
Conditions: The selected candidate will reside in São Carlos, São Paulo, Brazil. The fellowship is funded by FAPESP for a duration of 12 months, with the possibility of a 12-month extension subject to approval. The fellowship includes a monthly stipend of R$ 9,320.00
